Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long sensor of a capacitance type, which can detect foreign matter such as a human body in a manner being out of contact therewith, and can detect even foreign matter that is relatively small in variation of capacitance with good sensitivity. SOLUTION: The long sensor 21 is formed of a mounting proximal portion 22 and a skin portion 23. The skin portion 23 has a hollow portion 26 secured therein. A first electrode 27 is secured to an internal side surface of a door pillar 5 side of the hollow portion 26, and a second electrode 28 is secured to a surface of the mounting proximal portion 22 side of the hollow portion 26. A sponge layer 29 and an air layer 30 are arranged in the hollow portion 26 in a manner being sandwiched by both the electrodes 27, 28. The sponge layer 29 is arranged on the side of the mounting proximal portion 22, elastically deformable, and has a dielectric constant higher than that of air. The air layer 30 is formed between the skin portion 23 and the sponge layer 29. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
