Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus which suppresses image quality deterioration by reducing noise that may occur when a high-luminance subject is imaged, in a simple system in relatively small circuit scale. SOLUTION: A solid-state imaging apparatus comprises: a pixel array 21 including a plurality of pixel parts arrayed in a matrix shape; a vertical shift register 26 for selecting any row of the pixel array 21; a column amplifier unit 22 provided for each column for amplifying a column signal outputted from a pixel part belonging to the selected row; and a limiter circuit for limiting an output voltage of the column amplifier so as not to exceed a switchable predetermined voltage.
