VIDEO EDITING METHOD, VIDEO EDITING DEVICE, VIDEO EDITING PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten processing time of a video editing operation when video editing using a plurality of parts of one piece of material data is performed. SOLUTION: An editing definition information reading means 2 reads video editing definition information consisting of an editing definition record group including path information of the material data, insertion start time, insertion time length on a complete edited video image, and start time on the material data. A resource scheduling means 4 generates resource schedule information in order not to clip the video materials along a use order of the video materials but to execute clipping of the video materials in an order that the clipping is processed in short time so that back seeking is not generated according to each editing definition record. A video editing management means 6 acquires desired data from the material data based on the editing definition information and the resource schedule information, multiplexes the desired data, and a complete video image output means 9 outputs the complete video image based on the data.
