ELECTROMAGNETIC RELAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay capable of performing miniaturization and the lowering of a profile in the coil bobbin horizontally-positioned type electromagnetic relay. SOLUTION: In the electromagnetic relay 1, a relay body 2 having a coil bobbin 21 winding a coil 22 is arranged on a base 3 so as to make a center axis of the coil bobbin 21 arranged in a horizontal direction, and a plurality of terminal pieces 23, 36 are projected outside the base 3. A swelling section 3d projecting to an outside surface 3c of the base 3 is arranged in a lower space S of the base sandwiched by the plurality of terminal pieces 23, 36, and a concave section 3b for housing a lower section 22a of the coil 22 is arranged on an inside surface 3a of the base 3 in correspondence to the swelling section 3d.
