OPTICAL PICKUP DEVICE AND OPTICAL DISK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device and an optical disk device in which even when a holder and an optical base are adhered by a person using a dispenser, since apply quantity of adhesive contributing to adhesion of the holder and the optical base is made fixed quantity, influence of force applied to the holder can be controlled in accordance with adhesive apply quantity. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an optical device, a holder holding the optical device from a side, and an optical base 5 fixing the holder and controlling a position of the holder, the holder is extended in the vertical direction for a plane coming into contact with the optical base 5 and has the prescribed plane fixed to the optical base 5 by adhesive 7, the prescribed plane has a groove 6 to which a part of the adhesive 7 is made to flow in when it is fixed to the optical base 5 by the adhesive 7.
