LOAD BALANCER WITH BAND CONTROL FUNCTION, AND METHOD FOR SETTING THE SAME DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set a load distribution function and a band control function. SOLUTION: The load balancer 10 includes: a configuration information acceptance part 114 for accepting configuration information 3 including the address information of all servers as the object of distribution of a request and the classification of a service to be provided by each server; a load distribution setting part 115 for setting the request transmitted from the client to be transmitted to one of the servers corresponding to the classification of the service designated in the message based on the configuration information 3; and a band setting part 116 for calculating the number of servers for each classification of the service based on the configuration information 3, and for assigning the band of a line to each service according to the calculated number of servers.
