AIR CLEANER ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner element having a simple structure and equipped with a handle function for attaching and detaching an element body and a function for preventing coarse foreign matter from intruding into the element body. SOLUTION: Air flow is introduced from a first end face 19a side of the element body 19, filtered, and lead out of a second end face 19b side. A guard member 20 is mounted on the outer periphery of the first end face 19a side of the element body 19 by its leg part 26. Guard members 27 projecting at the upstream side of the air flow and connected to each other at the tip ends thereof are formed on the guard member 20. The guard members 27 are used as an intrusion prevention part of the coarse foreign matter T into a handle part and the element body 19 during attaching and detaching of the element body 19.
