SOLUTION: This method for continuously producing phosgene comprises a process of producing phosgene from CO and chlorine in the presence of at least one catalyst in at least one generator 1; a process of condensing the phosgene in a condenser 6; a process of separating a CO-containing residual gas; a process of generating phosgene by reacting the CO-containing residual gas with chlorine in a second generator 8; a process of condensing the phosgene generated in the second generator in a second condenser 13; and a process of separating a residual gas not yet condensed.
