CUTTING DEVICE FOR CORRUGATED FIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device for a corrugated fin enhanced in durability while enabling high speed cutting, and the reduction of cost by the reduction of weight and simplification in a mechanism and the simplification of control. SOLUTION: In this cutting device, a fin material 1 machined into a waveform is continuously conveyed by a conveying means 2, the number of ridges 11 and the positions of valley parts 12 of the fin material 1 are regulated, and bottoms of the valleys 12 of the fin material 1 during conveyance are cut by a cutting means 3. The cutting means 3 cuts the bottoms of the valleys 12 of the fin material 1 between a fixed cutting edge 4 and a movable cutting edge 6 relatively rotating in one direction by a first motor 51 in relation to the fixed cutting edge 4. The movable cutting edge 6 is switched to a cutting position and a non-cutting position and located at the cutting position only when the cutting is performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
