Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion which has, in addition to emulsion stability, a capability of forming a film at a low temperature and forming a dried coating film which maintains its adhesivity at a low temperature as well as its transparency, and is free from agglomerating and increasing its viscosity even upon subjecting the same to a mechanical stress with a hydrophilic organic solvent and ionic additives added thereinto. SOLUTION: The emulsion employs a polymeric emulsifier comprising 5 to 20 mole% of a structural unit derived from a polymerizable monomer having a structure comprised of a polymerizable double bond and a hydrophilic group bound together via at least 4 to 16 atoms therebetween, and 1 to 20 mole% of a structural unit derived from a nonionic monomer comprising a nonionic surfactant group, as its copolymerizable components, with the 1/2 mode temperature of the resulting copolymer measured by a flow tester being not lower than 40°C and not higher than 140°C.
