ARRAY ANTENNA FOR SOLAR LIGHT DIRECT RECEIVING POWER GENERATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar photovoltaic power generation system suppressed in conversion loss using compact and inexpensive facilities that do not need a large installation site. SOLUTION: An array antenna for solar light direct receiving power generation for generating electric power from an electromagnetic ray or the light of solar light is directly aligned in a direction of the sun in order to receive solar light energy and utilize it as electric power, and positioned in an array in order to provide a high directional gain. The antenna corresponding to the half wavelength of a peak of the electromagnetic ray delivered from the sun to the earth is arranged to receive the electric power with maximum efficiency. The antenna gain is improved by sharpening the beam of the antenna, or in other words, by narrowing down directionality to secure the more efficient and intensive reception of the electromagnetic ray. The antenna is also mechanically or electronically controlled and locked so that the front side of the antenna beam constantly faces the direction of the sun. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
