WATERPROOF-TYPE IMAGING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof-type imaging apparatus, capable of surely preventing a liquid from being infiltrated into a camera housing assembled, with two or more housing components formed by machining metal plates, using a simple constitution. SOLUTION: As the waterproof-type imaging apparatus, a digital still camera 1 comprises: a camera housing 2 assembled by opposing an end face 11a of a front case 11 and an end face 12a of a rear case 12; a connecting member 21 connecting the front case 11 and the rear case 12; and a waterproof member 31. Then, a waterproof member 31 includes a first compression part 32, that is compressed by the end face 11a of the front case 11 and the end face 12a of the rear case 12; and a second compression part 33, that is compressed by inner surfaces of the front case 11 and the rear case 12, and the connecting member 12.
