Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bar ion generator having good ion generating efficiency, good maintenance and handling performance, and capable of achieving a reduced cost and space-saving. SOLUTION: The bar ion generator 1 is constructed by arranging in a bar-shape case 4 at least one or more fine electrode ion generating elements 2 which have: a discharge electrode constituted by using a linear conductive material having a plurality of fine projections; a guiding electrode constituted by using a linear conductive material opposed to the discharge electrode, and a dielectric pinched between the discharge electrode and the guiding electrode. The bar-shape case 4 has an electrode 41 installed to supply power from the power supply, the fine electrode ion generating elements 2 are arranged on at least one face of an element supporting plate 3 installed detachably on the bar-shape case 4, and the element supporting plate 3 has one or more electrode terminals 21 installed which are connected to the electric contact parts of the fine electrode ion generating elements 2 and are connected to the electrode 41 of the bar-shape case 4.
