Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner attaining energy saving while ensuring the reliability of a compressor. SOLUTION: The air conditioner has an outdoor unit and a plurality of indoor units connected by liquid connection piping and gas connection piping, wherein the outdoor unit comprises a compressor, an oil, separator, a four-way valve, an outdoor heat exchanger, an outdoor expansion device, an outdoor blower and a liquid receiver, and the indoor unit comprises an indoor expansion device, an indoor heat exchanger and an indoor blower. Oil separated by the oil separator provided on the discharge side of the compressor is fed to an intermediate pressure chamber of the compressor via the oil piping. A pressure loss of an intake piping part by a refrigerator oil is thereby eliminated while ensuring refrigerator oil of the compressor to attain energy saving of the air conditioner.
