TWO AEROFOIL TYPE BLADE INCLUDING SPACER STRIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade providing better aerodynamic efficiency without compromise in the mechanical strength of the blade. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the blade 100 including a leading edge 102 and a trailing edge 103. The blade 100 is provided with a first aerofoil 10 including an inner surface 15 and an outer surface 14 extending between the leading edge 102 and the trailing edge 103, a second aerofoil 20 including an inner surface 24 and an outer surface 25 extending between the leading edge 102 and the trailing edge 103, and at least one spacer strip 30 connecting the inner surface 15 of the first aerofoil 10 and the inner surface 24 of the second blade 20. At least one strip 30 extends to the trailing edge 103, and distance D between the inner surface 15 of the first blade and the inner surface 24 of the second blade has the same figure as the maximum thickness of the first and the second aerofoil 10, 20.
