Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of purifying a substance and an apparatus for purifying a substance, with which high purifying efficiency can be obtained, satisfactory adhesion to a cooled object can be attained, peeling by centrifugal force caused by the rotation of the cooled object can be suppressed, and a high recovery rate of refining substance can be attained. SOLUTION: Disclosed is the method of purification which comprises immersing the cooled object in a molten substance and crystallizing the substance on the surface of the cooled object to grow the crystal. While being rotated at a peripheral speed of 700 to 8,000 mm/s, excluding 8,000 mms, the cooled object is lowered and immersed in the molten substance. The temperature of the cooled object in the state of being immersed in the molten substance is regulated to at least [(solidus temperature of the substance)×0.7]. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
