Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily replace a jamb by simple work when the design of a floor is changed, when the jamb is damaged, or when reforming work for renewal is performed. SOLUTION: The elevator jamb is installed on an elevator hall doorway which is provided between a shaft and an elevator hall 90. The jamb comprises a vertical reinforcing frame 9 extending in the vertical direction, and a design frame 8 connected to the vertical reinforcing frame 9 via an opening/closing member 11 and extending to the wall face of a building on the side of the elevator hall 90 in the vertical direction. The opening/closing member 11 has a first opening/closing member 11a provided on the design frame 8, and a second opening/closing member 11b provided on the vertical reinforcing frame 9. The first opening/closing member 11a and the second opening/closing member 11b are detachable from each other.
