Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen gas detector for a liquid fuel storing tank, which ensures highly reliable measurement and excellent response. SOLUTION: The oxygen gas detector for the liquid fuel storing tank includes a housing, an oxygen gas sensor held by the housing, and a guard member. The housing has a gas introducing space leading to the gas acting part of the oxygen gas sensor. The guard member is disposed opposite the opening of the gas introducing space. A gas inlet, defined by a gap between the guard member and the housing, and the gas acting part of the oxygen gas sensor communicate with each other by means of a bent gas passage, and are prevented from facing each other along a straight line.
