CUFF SUPPORTER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING STATOR USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to slot paper caused by pushing of coils. SOLUTION: Cuff supporters 12 are devices for protecting cuff parts of slot paper that is inserted into slots of a stator core with forked parts 33 formed by tip end parts 31a, 32a of two adjacent rod shape bodies 31, 32. There is a seam 34a of mating faces 34 of the two rod shape bodies 31, 32 at the inside summit part of the forked part 33. A hood 35, which keeps the cuff parts 7 away from the coils inserted into the slots after inserting the slot paper, is provided near at least the seam 34a inside the forked part 33.
