DISK PLAYBACK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is necessary to prevent a hand or the like from accidentally touching a rotating disk when a part of the disk is exposed to the outside of the device. SOLUTION: The disk playback device comprises: a disk loading means which conveys a disk inserted in a disk insertion slot in the disk playback device between an eject position and a playback position where a part of the disk is exposed to the outside; a protector which is flush with the disk at a playback position so as to cover the rim of the disk and is separated by a necessary distance from the rim of the disk; and a protector driving means to move the protector to be flush with the disk positioned in the playback position.
