HEAT PUMP HOT WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy efficiency during the hot water storage tank boiling of a midnight time zone, and to carry out the equalization of an electric power demand in a heat pump hot water supply system. SOLUTION: The heat pump hot water supply system equipped with a heat pump, and a hot water storage tank storing water heated by the heat pump is equipped with a setting means for setting a heating capacity by using an outside air temperature, and a control means for preferentially operating the heat pump by a minimum value of the heating capacity set by the setting means during the midnight time zone. The system is characterized in that, in the control means, if boiling cannot be completed during the midnight time zone by only preferentially operating the heat pump by the minimum value of the heating capacity, control is carried out to operate the heat pump by a heating capacity larger than the minimum value of the heating capacity.
