CONTROL DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of appropriately reflecting a demand value of relatively low importance (priority rank) in arbitration. SOLUTION: The control device for an internal combustion engine comprises a demand output part and an arbitration part. The demand output part outputs a plurality of demands related to functions of the internal combustion engine (drivability, exhaust gas, idle) while expressing physical quantities (torque, through put, air-fuel ratio). The arbitration part arbitrates a plurality of demands A-C expressed by the same physical quantity into one demand value E according to a predetermined rule. The demands A-C outputted from the demand output part are defined by the range of the demand value and the distribution of the expected value representing the expectation degree of the demand values in the range. The arbitration part calculates the addition sum D of the expected values of the plurality of the demands A-C for arbitrating the same into the demand value E to have the maximum addition sum.
