Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guard for expansion and contraction joint capable of preventing a rail for the expansion and contraction joint on an outer track side from being worn and damaged in the expansion and contraction joint in a curve section and improving rigidity of the whole expansion and contraction joint part in the curve section. SOLUTION: This guard 1 for the expansion and contraction joint is provided with a plurality of rail supporting members 2, the rail 4 for the expansion and contraction joint having a tongue rail 9 and a receiving rail 10, and a guard rail 6 arranged on an inner side of gauge of track along the rail 4 for the expansion and contraction joint. The rail 4 for the expansion and contraction joint is constituted by overlapping the tongue rail 9 on the receiving rail 10 partially along the direction of advance and putting and fixing it on a plurality of rail supporting members 2.
