Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dendritic polymer and a magnetic resonance imaging contrast agent employing the same. SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging contrast agent includes the dendritic polymer having a structure represented by formula (I) or (II), wherein S is a cyclosilane moiety having j silicon-oxygen residues, and j is an integer of ≥2; P is represented by formula (1), and l is an integer of ≥1; D is a 3-30C dendritic moiety having n oxygen residues, and n is an integer of ≥3; X is a 3-30C moiety having bi-functionality; Z is a 3-20C moiety having a plurality of functional groups; and L is a metal cation.
