Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fixing carbon of carbon dioxide by using calcium or a calcium compound, which is inexpensive and obtainable easily, by a simple operation. SOLUTION: The method for fixing carbon of carbon dioxide, in which an impact is made on calcium or a calcium-containing compound in the presence of carbon dioxide to fix carbon of carbon dioxide as a carbon-containing or non-stoichiometric carbon-containing calcium compound, comprises a step of directly jetting carbon dioxide toward the calcium or the calcium-containing compound, otherwise, the steps of: putting the calcium or the calcium-containing compound in a liquid medium; and blowing carbon dioxide into the resulting liquid medium at a high speed to supply carbon dioxide into the resulting liquid medium and shake the carbon dioxide-supplied liquid medium so that carbon of carbon dioxide is fixed as carbon-containing or non-stoichiometric carbon-containing calcium.
