Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of regenerating a hydrogenation catalyst which regenerates a used hydrogenation catalyst to such an extent that the catalytic activity of the catalyst is restored close to that of the unused catalyst. SOLUTION: The regenerating method has the first process of baking a used hydrogenation catalyst to remove carbonaceous matter adhering to the catalyst so as to obtain a baked catalyst and the second process of causing an active metal ingredient to be supported in the baked catalyst.
