Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor pressure vessel with an improved system safety for a modular high-temperature gas-cooled reactor and the modular gas-cooled reactor therewith. SOLUTION: The reactor pressure vessel for the modular high-temperature gas-cooled reactor comprises a reactor pressure vessel section, a block type reactor core section which is laid out in the reactor pressure vessel section, a standpipe which installed at the upper part of the block type reactor core section in the reactor pressure vessel section and includes a control rod and a control rod drive device, first double piping through which a coolant flows into and/or out of the block type reactor core section, and a first cooling means which supplies the coolant from inside the standpipe to the block type reactor core section to cool down the control rod and control rod drive device. As a result, the standpipe may be laid out in the reactor pressure vessel for the modular high-temperature gas-cooled reactor to improve system safety. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
