Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a high-precision radial bearing clearance. SOLUTION: The fluid bearing device 1 is provided with a metal housing 7, a sintered metal bearing sleeve 8, and a shaft member 2 as main components. The sintered metal bearing sleeve is fixed on the inner periphery of the housing 7, and the shaft member inserted to the inner periphery of the bearing sleeve 8 forms a radial bearing clearance between its outer peripheral surface 2a1 and the inner peripheral surface 8a of the bearing sleeve 8. A resin intermediate member 10 which is in a compressed state is interposed between the outer peripheral surface 8d of the bearing sleeve 8 and the inner peripheral surface 7a1 of the housing 7. Thus, the housing 7 and the bearing sleeve 8 are fixed to each other by the elastic stability of the intermediate member 10.
