ROPE RUNNING INSPECTION DEVICE AND ROPE RUPTURE DETECTION DEVICE EQUIPPED THEREWITH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope running inspection device for inspecting a running state of a wire rope, and to provide a rope rupture detection device capable of being used for a rope rupture detecting operation periodically performed so as to inspect the rupture of the wire rope without damaging a rope tester. SOLUTION: The rope rupture detection device 1 is equipped with the rope tester 11 for detecting rupture of wire composing the wire rope, a moving mechanism 12 for moving the rope tester between a detecting position and a stand-by position, the rope running inspection device 13 for detecting that the wire rope is in a running state for imparting damage to the rope tester at the detecting position, and a control device 14 which detects the rupture of the wire composing the wire rope by moving the rope tester to the detecting position when the wire rope is not in a running state for imparting the damage, and makes the rope tester stand by at stand-by position when the rope is in a running state for imparting damage to the rope tester.
