Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a support system for reasonably and effectively obtaining a deposit rate by solving problems wherein if the deposit rate is high, the rate is advantageous to a renter and if the rate is low, the rate is advantageous to a lessor though the magnitude of the deposit rate indicates a reasonable factor for matching the intermediate price of an article after some period is elapsed with an amount obtained by deducting a deposit amount from the price thereof at the start of rent. SOLUTION: In this deposit rate calculation support system, a personal computer server having calculation functions for addition, deduction, multiplication, and division comprises input means for article data on article price, expected duration, and annual rent. The deposit rate calculation support system can calculate a deposit rate by calculating a numerical value obtained by dividing the article price by the expected duration and dividing the value thus obtained by the annual rent.
