PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, capable of performing reliable black spot processing of a pixel by a simple operation. SOLUTION: The display device includes, in a pixel area on a substrate, at least a thin film transistor formed on a gate signal line, a pixel electrode to which video signal from a drain signal line is supplied through the thin film transistor, and a reference signal line to which a signal to be a reference for the video signal is supplied. The thin film transistor includes a drain signal line connected to the drain signal line, and a source electrode connected to the pixel electrode. The reference signal line is disposed in parallel adjacently to the gate signal line, and includes a protruding part formed on the gate signal line side, and the pixel electrode is formed to cover at least a part of the protruding part on an insulating film formed to cover also the reference signal line, and includes a connection part with the source electrode in the vicinity of the gate signal line. The protruding part of the reference signal line and the connection part of the pixel electrode with the source electrode are juxtaposed on a line parallel to the gate signal line.
