REMOTE DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM OF VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote diagnosis system having a small load of information processing in a vehicle. SOLUTION: A data communication device for remote diagnosis of a vehicle communicates with a remote diagnosis server outside the vehicle. The data communication device is equipped with a reception part for receiving data from an on-vehicle network; a vehicle state data memory for storing vehicle state data on the vehicle state received from the on-vehicle network by the reception part; a fault information memory for storing vehicle state data at that time in response to reception of a fault code showing a fault of the vehicle from the on-vehicle network by the reception part, together with the fault code as fault information; and a data communication part for transmitting the fault information stored in the fault information memory to the server, in response to reception of a request signal from the server.
