Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bypass tool for a watt-hour meter enabling completion of a replacement work or a repair work of the watt-hour meter extremely quickly in a short time, while keeping an uninterruptible state, without requiring at all an extraction/insertion work of a wire which is a dangerous work, from the time of the replacement work or the repair work of the watt-hour meter of the first time. SOLUTION: In this tool used for a watt-hour meter A as an object, having a structure equipped with a plurality of input terminals a and a plurality of output terminals b on one end, and capable of exposing each terminal a, b by removing a hazard prevention cover c covering the surface, two bypass metal fixtures 2, 3 made of a conductor are stored in a mutually noncontact state inside an oblong container body 1 having an insulating structure as a whole, and contact pins 4, 4 to be in contact with one of the input terminals a and one of the output terminals b in the watt-hour meter A are connected to both metal fixtures 2, 3 respectively, and tip parts thereof are projected to the back side of the container body 1, and fixing pin holes 6, 6 are formed on parts near both end in the longitudinal direction of the container body 1.
