Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fin material for a heat exchanger, and its manufacturing method, for showing a hydrophilic property and continuousness of the hydrophilic property in a short time. SOLUTION: This fin material 1 for the heat exchanger is composed of a base 2, and a photocatalyst layer 3 formed on a surface of the base 2. The photocatalyst layer 3 is formed by dispersing photocatalytic particles 32 into a base resin 31 composed of a silicone resin. The silicone resin has a contact angle with the water, of 85° or less, when a coating film composed of only a silicone resin is formed without including the photocatalytic particles.
