Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain desirable shift lever operation feeling without being affected by variations in the assembling of vehicle bodies. SOLUTION: When a shift cable 1 is moved to one side, a casing cap 3 moves in the same direction with the shift cable 1 and presses one of dampers, for instance, a damper 11. Projections 7, 9 are formed on opposite side surfaces 5a, 5b of a flange 5 of the casing cap 3 and concaves 23a, 29a corresponding to the projections 7, 9 are formed at surfaces of the dampers 11, 13 facing the side surfaces 5a, 5b. When the shift cable 1 is moved together with the casing cap 3 to a damper 11 side by the operation of the shift lever, at an initial stage of the operation, the side surface 5a of the flange 5 presses and compressively deforms an end surface 23d of the concave 23b of the damper 11 and at a late stage of the operation, the projection 7 of the flange 5 contacts with a bottom surface of the concave 23a of the damper 11.
