Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a microporous polyolefin membrane having high electrolyte impregnability without deteriorating permeability, mechanical strength and heat resistance. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the microporous polyolefin membrane includes a step of applying pressure at least once on a microporous film in the film thickness direction so that a deformation ratio in the film thickness direction is made ≥1%, wherein the microporous film has been stretched in at least a uniaxial direction and substantially has vacant parts.
