Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve one or more defects in a known apparatus and method for breeching a reinforced concrete in an apparatus for breeching a rigid structure having a first surface and a second surface in its both sides. SOLUTION: The breeching apparatus contains an impacter element and a self-contained energy supplying source. The self-contained energy supplying source allows the impacter element to give impact to the first surface of the structure. The impacter element is structured in such a way as conveying a localized impact wave through the structure upon impact. The self-contained energy supplying source can accelerate the impact element up to a degree sufficient for inducing spalling in the second surface of the structure. Many breeching apparatus can be supported by a frame to facilitate simultaneous or successive breeching in the structure.
