CUTTING DEVICE FOR DISUSED SECTION IN PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut a disused section projected in a pipe while securing a fixed uncut section even when an axis of an existing pipe is curved. SOLUTION: A cutting device 1 is provided with a travelling truck 2 having a plurality of wheels 22 and capable of travelling in the existing pipe, a turning frame 3, in which both front and back ends are supported on the travelling truck 2 so as to be rotatable around the axis, and which is capable of turning in the peripheral direction of the existing pipe S via a turning motor 7, a guide frame 4 arranged on the turning frame 3 via an elevating mechanism 6 in a freely moving-up and down state, and a cutting blade 5, in which both front and back ends are supported on the guide frame 4 so as to be rotatable around the axis direction, and which is capable of rotating via a motor 8 for cutting. Thus, the disused section projected in the existing pipe S can be cut off such that the rotating cutting blade 5 is raised at a position being close to the inner peripheral surface of the existing pipe S and is turned in the peripheral direction of the existing pipe S.
