SOLUTION: The paste dispenser which coats a substrate with paste connecting by over-wrapping the coating start portion and the coating finish portion while making a nozzle discharging paste by a coating pressure move up and down its coating height against a substrate and change the coating rate of the nozzle horizontally moving relatively against the substrate includes a step that the coating height starts lowering from a waiting height, reaches the first coating height at the coating start position, and holds the first coating height up to the first height rise position and a step that the coating height rises from the first coating height to the second coating height, and holds the second coating height.
