PORTABLE TYPE TOMOGRAPHIC DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM HAVING OPEN TYPE GANTRY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure a portable stretcher not only to carry a subject who might have trauma or be physically disabled from one position to another position but also to be operated as a detector for diagnostic imaging of the subject. SOLUTION: An imaging system includes the portable stretcher 50 including a structure housing 8 and a digital detector 10 disposed in the structure housing 8 for detecting X-ray signals corresponding to a region of imaging interest. This imaging system further includes at least one X-ray source 60 for generating the X-ray signals. The at least one X-ray source is provided in the open type gantry 72, disposed in the upper part of the portable stretcher 50 and generates X-rays from different focal spot positions.
