PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of minimizing the outer diameter of a main body and being excellent in an obstacle avoiding property by combining a rotary bumper with the main body in a circular shape. SOLUTION: In the vacuum cleaner main body 1 in the circular shape, a power cord winding device 4 for spirally winding a power cord in a horizontal direction is provided inside the main body, the rotary bumper 2 freely rotatable for 360 degrees at the same center as the rotation center of the power cord winding device 4 is provided, the outer diameter of the rotary bumper 2 is larger than that of the power cord winding device 4, and it is disposed so as to be rotated on the lower side of the storage position of the power plug of the power cord winding device 4. Thus, by efficiently disposing the power cord winding device 4 and the rotary bumper 2 capable of 360-degree rotation with excellent handleability which are functional components to the vacuum cleaner main body 1 in the circular shape, the small-sized vacuum cleaner excellent in the obstacle avoiding property is provided.
