SOLUTION: The imaging device 1 includes: imaging means 14, 31, 32 which photograph an object image, and generate image data; a first operation means 32 which calculates object luminance information based on the image data level; a second operation means 33 which calculates a difference between an object luminance information based on the image data level and target luminance information calculated by the first operation means 32; and an amplification means 32 which amplifies the image data used for the calculation of the object luminance information and the difference calculated by the second operation means 33.
