SINGLE BASE HALOGEN BULB

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single base halogen bulb with a filament which is used in horizontal attitude and whose deformation is prevented to minimize an arc discharging time during the breakage of the filament. SOLUTION: The single base halogen bulb 1 includes the filament 10 supported by both a first conduction supporting rod 11 having one end connected to an electrode 4b and the other end locked to an exhaust chip 3b at the front end of a glass tube 3 and connected to the front end of the filament 10 and a second conduction supporting rod 12 having one end connected to an electrode 4a and the other end connected to the base end of the filament 10. The halogen bulb 1 also has a first hanging rod 15 having both ends supported by both a first glass rod 13 fixed to the first conduction supporting rod 11 and a second glass rod 14, for hanging the filament 10 via a first hook 15a provided on the first glass rod 13.
