Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of a vehicle user without causing an increase of vehicle weight and an increase of cost. SOLUTION: This control device is provided with an on-vehicle communication unit 16 for transmitting a radio wave A of a first frequency band or a radio wave B of the first frequency band and receiving a radio wave C of a second frequency band or a radio wave D of the first frequency band, a portable communication unit 40 for transmitting the radio wave C to the on-vehicle communication unit 16 when receiving the radio wave A and transmitting the radio wave D to the on-vehicle communication unit 16 when receiving the radio wave B, and a driving control means 13 for authenticating that the portable communication unit 40 is adapted to a vehicle 10 by an authentication means 15 based on the radio wave C or radio wave D received from the portable communication unit 40 and starting a driving source 12 of the vehicle 10 when a driving source switch 14 is operated. The control device is further provided with radio wave A transmission inhibition means 31 for selectively inhibiting transmission of the radio wave A by the on-vehicle communication unit 16.
