SOLUTION: A method is for manufacturing a plurality of divided bodies 13 divided from division grooves 12 by curving the plate-like material 11 formed of a brittle material formed beforehand with division grooves 12, wherein a pair of contact plate members 21 formed of a flexible material are arranged on both faces of the plate-like material 11, and in a state of holding the plate-like material 11 by these contact plate members 21, the contact plate members 21 are bent to divide the plate-like material 11 between both contact plate members 21.
