Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste covering method which can curb reduction of waste land-fill capacity, and simply cover the waste. SOLUTION: This waste covering method is to repeat the step to form a covering layer on the waste 2 after stacking it at a waste disposal site 1. As for the covering layer, a waste covering sheet 4 is used which is made up of a woven fabric or a nonwoven fabric having a thickness of ≥0.4 mm and ≤2.0 mm and a water absorption factor of ≥5 and ≤30, and ≥40% elongation in the longitudinal direction and the crosswise direction.
