X-RAY DETECTOR SYSTEM AND X-RAY CT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount an X-ray detector and a data gathering device in high density. SOLUTION: An X-ray detection chip 12a in which a plurality of detection elements for converting X-rays to electric signals directly or indirectly after tentatively converting them to light are two-dimensionally arrayed, an amplification chip 12b1 for respectively amplifying the electric signals from the detection elements of the X-ray detection chip and an A/D conversion chip 12b2 for converting the output of the amplification chip to digital signals are piled up, successively and electrically connected by a through electrode or the like between them, and mounted on a substrate 12c of ceramic or the like to configure the X-ray detector system 12. Thus, since the X-ray detector and the data gathering device separately configured conventionally are turned into one chip to attain a high definition X-ray detector system, mounting on the X-ray CT apparatus in high density is made possible.
