IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of capturing an appropriate image even if camera shake occurs. SOLUTION: A digital camera includes an angular velocity sensor 28 for detecting a camera shake amount during imaging. Based on a result of the detection in the angular velocity sensor 28, a control parameter calculation unit 32 calculates such an edge emphasis coefficient as to reduce an emphasis degree of a band wherein a signal component of a source image obtained in an ideal state without camera shake or noise is deteriorated by camera shake. Furthermore, such a quantization table is also calculated as to enlarge a quantization value of the band wherein the signal component of the source image is deteriorated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
