SOLUTION: The solar battery manufacturing method includes a process for forming pn-junction by heating after applying a phosphoric acid aqueous solution to the main surface of a p-type crystal silicon substrate, and is characterized by forming a silicon nitride thin film on the main surface of the p-type crystal silicon substrate before being applied with the phosphoric acid aqueous solution.
