PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain rapid information exchange in a portable terminal with communicating function and a data automatic delivery system by immediately confirming the content of an electronic mail or a data file delivered to a user. SOLUTION: When a message receiving part 105 receives a new message reporting that a newly arriving file (or electronic mail) is present, a control part 101 analyzes the new message to acquire identification information specifying the file (or electronic mail) and the telephone number of a host computer. After circuit connection with the host computer is performed through a cellular phone transmitting and receiving part 107, an order request command for the file (or electronic mail) is transmitted to the host computer, and the file (or electronic mail) is automatically acquired from the host computer and presented to the user using a display part 102.
